We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy when you visit and connect with other people who care about osteoporosis on http://www.osteolink.org ("our site").

In this Privacy Policy, "we", "our" and "us" refers to the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF). Full details of our organizations are set out in our terms of use.

The policy (together with our terms of use and any other documents referred to on it) explains how we will process and use any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us. To ensure that content from our site is presented in the most effective manner for you and your computer we may send "cookies" to your computer or use similar technologies. WE WILL ENSURE THAT OUR PARTNER ORGANISATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO THE SAME RESTRICTIONS AS US (AS SET OUT IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY) IN RELATION TO THEIR USE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA.         

WE MAY ALSO DISCLOSE YOUR PERSONAL DATA (INCLUDING INFORMATION WHICH YOU PROVIDE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH, DIAGNOSIS AND/OR TREATMENT) TO OUR DATA PROCESSING AGENCIES SUCH AS TECHNICAL, DIGITAL AND/OR TRANSLATION AGENCIES FOR ADMINISTRATIVE PURPOSES ONLY. WE WILL ENSURE THAT SUCH AGENCIES ARE SUBJECT TO THE SAME RESTRICTIONS AS US (AS SET OUT IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY) IN RELATION TO THEIR USE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA.

No personal data will be shared with any funding sponsors of OsteoLink. This includes global and national OsteoLink sponsors.WE WILL NOT SELL OR DISCLOSE YOUR PERSONAL DATA TO EXTERNAL COMMERCIAL ORGANISATIONS SUCH AS ADVERTISERS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.We may use personal data for research, educational and correspondence purposes only, as explained above.

 5. YOUR RIGHTS

Our site may, from time to time, contain links to and from the websites of our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Please check these policies before you submit any personal data to these websites.

You have a legal right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with applicable law.

You have the right to request that we remove your personal information from our databases and the right to access, update and correct inaccuracies in your personal information in our custody or control, subject to certain exceptions prescribed by law.
